To get to the bathrooms turn left after entering the patio through the gate and walk through the main door (straight ahead); inside the building turn left.
The building is open for events (please consult the public calendar: http://az-koeln.org/kalender/) and also irregularly at other times. There is an area with three toilets for ciswomen, trans* and inter* folks (marked "FLTI*") and an area with a couple of all gender toilets.
