Allgenda

Privacy

Privacy in plain language.

Allgenda is built for people who have good reasons to be careful about where their data goes. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and how to get rid of it.

Last updated June 22, 2026.

The short version

  • You can browse the whole directory without an account, and analytics stay off until you say yes.
  • We don't run ads, and we don't sell your data. Not to anyone, not ever.
  • Voice Lab recordings are private to you, auto-delete after 90 days, and you can wipe them yourself anytime.
  • Card payments go through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
  • Anything you share (an HRT note, a recording, your email) you can clear or take back whenever you want.

Analytics

Allgenda uses Vercel Web Analytics (cookie-free and aggregate) and Google Analytics 4, but GA4 is gated by your consent. On your first visit we show a banner; analytics stays off until you accept. If you decline or ignore it, no analytics events are sent and no analytics cookies are written (this is Google's Consent Mode v2, set to “default denied”).

When you do opt in, we record page views and a small set of product events (things like search, filtering, viewing a venue, getting directions, or filing a report) to understand which features actually help people find welcoming places. Advertising signals are off; we don't run ads. If you're signed in, we send a one-way SHA-256 hash of your user ID so we can measure returning use across devices. We never send your email, your name, or any free text you typed into a form. You can change or withdraw your choice anytime via Privacy choices in the footer.

Your account

You don't need an account to browse Allgenda or read listings. You do need one to post a review, reply, or photo, to file a report, to claim a venue, to use Voice Lab, or to buy credits. We use account data to run those features and to keep the directory free of abuse. We never sell, rent, or swap account data.

Voice Lab

Voice Lab is voice practice, so it works with sensitive data like your voice, and optionally a note about hormones. We treat both with extra care, and none of it is collected unless you opt in.

  • Your voice during a live session. Your microphone streams to OpenAI in real time to power the coach, and your speech is transcribed (via OpenAI Whisper) so the coach can track your progress. We ask for explicit consent before your first session, and the session conversation is stored for 90 days, then deleted.
  • Recordings you save. If you save a recording, the audio lives in private storage only you can reach, and we run acoustic analysis (pitch, resonance, and similar measures) on it. Recordings auto-delete after 90 days.
  • Hormone (HRT) context is optional. The field defaults to “Prefer not to say.” If you do share it, we use it only to personalize coaching, we send it to OpenAI only inside the coaching prompt during a session, and we never log it, attach it to analytics, or sell it. You can erase it instantly with Clear my HRT info in Voice Lab settings.

You can delete any single recording yourself, or use Delete all my Voice Lab data in settings to permanently erase everything, including audio, transcripts, analysis, sessions, and any HRT note, in one go. Withdrawing voice-recording consent stops future sessions and lets you remove past recordings on your terms.

Payments and donations

When you buy credits or a membership (Allgenda Dues), payment is processed by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers; we keep a Stripe customer reference and a record of your credit balance, not your card number. For each purchase we also record that 5% was set aside for the nonprofit you picked at checkout, so we can report on it.

Email and marketing

We send two kinds of email. Account and purchase email (welcome notes, receipts, membership changes, payment problems, password resets) is sent because you have an account or made a purchase. It carries no marketing, and you can't unsubscribe from it while your account is open.

Marketing emailis occasional product news, new features, and announcements, sent only if you opt in. In the US the opt-in box may be pre-checked (you can clear it); in the EU, UK, and Canada it's unchecked and we only email you if you check it. Only Allgenda sends these. We never share or sell your address, and every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe. You can manage this anytime under Settings › Email.

We use Brevo(Sendinblue GmbH) to deliver email and to hold the marketing contact list. We record when and how you gave consent (date, source, region, and the exact wording you agreed to) so we can honor and prove your choice. If you delete your account, we remove your contact from Brevo and keep only a minimal consent record for as long as the law requires, then delete it. We don't store your IP address for email consent.

Our calls to venues

To confirm a listing, Allgenda sometimes calls a venue using an AI-assisted script. (This is a tool we point at businesses, separate from Voice Lab, which is yours.) The call is deterministic (yes/no), opens by disclosing that it's automated and may be recorded, and never pivots to a sales pitch. A short clip of the call is kept for about two weeks so a moderator can review call quality, then automatically deleted. Calls to do-not-call numbers are deleted immediately.

Reports

The venue never sees who filed a report against them. Moderators see your report so they can act on it. We do not share reports with law enforcement unless compelled by a valid legal process.

Your controls

  • Analytics: accept, decline, or change your mind anytime via Privacy choices in the footer.
  • Marketing email: one-click unsubscribe, or toggle it under Settings › Email.
  • Voice Lab: clear your HRT note, delete individual recordings, or erase all your Voice Lab data from Voice Lab settings.
  • Your whole account: request deletion through the contact form. We handle deletions by hand so nothing is lost by accident, then remove your profile, submissions, and Voice Lab data.
