Directions to the building: -from the Nassau st entrance: enter through the Nassau st entrance, follow the passage to the right until you reach the end of it, before the slope into a small green/square/area. The building on your right is the Arts building. Enter it, on the right you will see a security desk, if the bathroom is locked, ask them or the nearest security person to open it. I've asked them to open it because I preferred gender neutral bathrooms and they respected this. on the presumption that the bathroom is open (which it usually is), continue straight ahead, until you reach a small corridor on your right, turn right and there will be the wheelchair accessible bathroom.
From the main entrance: entering from the main entrance, continue in a straight line heading for the bell tower/double arch that is in the centre of the square. Turn right once you reach this point, and continue in a straight line after this, past the old library on your left and past the secondary square/green area and up the slope (there will be a slope to your left, while there is a wheel chair accessible bathroom this way, it is in the same building, more difficult to access and almost always locked, my advice is to continue straight ahead unless you have an appointment in the lower floor of this building). Once you have entered the building, with the security desk on your right, follow the initial intsructions I gave.
It is almost always open, but if it is not, ask the security to open it. if you prefer gender neutral toilets and do not use a wheelchair, and they question your need for it, state that your preference is a gender neutral toilet, and they should assist you. Complain if they don't.
