When opening the front door you are faced to the cash register and to the right is a big red door which is the bathroom.
You generally do not have to be a customer to use the restroom, but they are centrally located in a downtown area with many people without shelter that have used the bathrooms for mispurposed reasons and so the wait staff has to be selective about who they let use the restroom. 98% of the time they will let anyone off the street use the bathroom. -Source from an ex employee and avid supporter.
P.s. in the winter months they also hold a soup kitchen once a week on Mondays. From nov-march. Be safe out there.
