When entering from Canon Perdido St (the only entrance), follow the alley with outside seating on the right side of the shop. Enter through the third doorway (the white painted doorway without a door). Through the doorway on your left, you will see the main espresso counter. The restroom is on your right, labeled “Toilet”.
There is only one restroom, and as it serves both staff and customers there is a likelihood of having someone waiting for the restroom. The outdoor entrance makes this restroom easy to use for anyone who does not wish to buy a coffee or pastry. However I would strongly recommend both. The light is on the right side of the door, just depress the button on the lower portion of the motion sensored switch. Handlebar Coffee Roasters offers free refills for any customer who orders plain coffee. Filtered water is available on tap for all customers, just ask a barista and they will direct you. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are outlets available in the outdoor seating area, and there is free WiFi available (just ask a barista for the password). The shop can be busy, but the staff are very competent with many orders.
