Commons
Transparency
The Commons is run by people, and this is where we show our work. These are aggregate numbers, counts only, with nothing that could identify who reported what or who got moderated. When a post is removed, the person sees why and can appeal. We don’t promise round-the-clock coverage, and we won’t pretend software catches everything. What we do is moderate with people and publish the totals.

Actions and appeals
Every moderation action is logged to a tamper-evident audit trail. An appeal is re-reviewed by someone other than the person who made the original call.

Subpoenas, warrants, and court orders for Commons user data.
Orders that would forbid us from telling you about a request.
Identity resolution (connecting a Commons name to an account) only happens for a specific abuse case, is logged to a sealed audit no one can browse, and is never shown publicly.
